Belews Lake Sprint Distance Triathlon & Multisport Race
The event is a sprint-distance multisport race held Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Carolina Marina, 548 Shelton Road, Stokesdale, NC. It is part of the Trivium Multisport Series and uses a time trial start format. Packet pickup is available the day before at Fleet Feet Greensboro.

Course, logistics and awards
The swim is an in-water start at the boat launch on Belews Lake with a triangular course. Competitors exit the water and run about 50 yards to transition. A 100 yard swim time must be submitted for swim seeding; swim caps are provided and are mandatory. The bike is two loops on smooth rural roads with a few hills; intersections are staffed by police and volunteers and turns are marked. The run is two loops on smooth roads with rolling hills and lake views; aid stations are located every 1 mile.
Parking volunteers will direct vehicles from Shelton Road to parking areas that are relatively close to the staging area. Race entries include a sublimated short sleeve shirt, a finisher medal, chip timing with five timing point splits, and post-race food and drinks. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, top three in five-year age groups (14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+), top collegiate male and female, Athenas, Clydesdales, Masters Clydesdales, and the top relay team in the Sprint Triathlon.
