Event overview
The Belews Lake Sprint Distance Triathlon & Multisport Race is a sprint-distance multisport event held on April 18, 2026, at Carolina Marina in Stokesdale, North Carolina. Course details and logistics
The swim starts in the water at the boat launch and follows a triangular course. Participants must submit a 100 yard swim time for start positioning. Swim caps are mandatory and provided. The bike is a two-loop route on smooth rural roads with some hills; intersections are staffed by police and volunteers and turns are signed. The run is two laps on smooth roads with rolling hills and aid stations about every 1 mile. Transition is a short run from the swim exit.
Timing, awards and policies
Chip timing is provided with five timing-point splits. Registration includes a race shirt, finisher medal, post-race food and series points. Awards are given to top three overall male and female finishers, top three in 5-year age groups, collegiate categories, Athenas, Clydesdales, Masters Clydesdales, and the top relay team. Refunds are not issued within 30 days of the event; limited partial refunds and $5 transfers are subject to the stated policies.
