Event Overview
The Miles for Mimosas 5K takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Zimmerman Vineyards in Trinity, North Carolina. The event offers three registration options: a 5K, a Virtual 5K, and a Sip & Stroll.
Event Features
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a complimentary mimosa at the finish line, with juice and water available for participants under 21. Registered participants also receive a race-themed shirt. The 5K event uses chip timing for the start and finish.
Course and Aid
The course is located at Zimmerman Vineyards, and a map is available online. Self-serve water stations are placed approximately every 1.5 miles along the route.
Awards
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additional awards are presented for the top three overall masters (40+), grand masters (50+), and senior masters (60+). The top three finishers in each traditional five-year age group, from 10 & under through 80+, also receive awards.
Additional Information
The event has a charity partner, the American Cancer Society. Team registrations are available and offer discounts based on the size of the group. Packet pickup occurs on race morning, starting one hour before the event begins. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
