Miles for Mimosas 5K - Zimmerman Vineyards

Event details

The Miles for Mimosas event takes place on April 11, 2026, at Zimmerman Vineyards in Trinity, North Carolina. The event includes a 5K, a Virtual 5K, and a Sip & Stroll. All participants registered by April 1 are guaranteed race swag in their size; afterward swag is while supplies last. Finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a complimentary mimosa; juice and water will be provided for participants under 21. The race will use chip timing for start and finish, and water stations will be placed at about every 1.5 miles. A course map is available on MapMyRun.

Registration, awards, and other logistics

Registration pricing varies by period: early bird ($30), regular ($35), late ($37.50), and race day ($40); a no-shirt option reduces the fee by $5. Packet pickup is held on race morning beginning one hour before the race. Awards are given to top finishers: Top 3 Overall male and female, Top 3 Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Senior Masters (60+), and top three in five-year age groups from 10 & under through 80+. The American Cancer Society is the event charity partner. A virtual-package option ships the virtual race packet the Monday after the event (shipping to the continental US); virtual participants can submit results online through the stated submission deadline. Group discounts apply at multiple team-size tiers. Volunteers who recruit and bring three qualifying volunteers may be eligible for a $50 Visa gift card if all conditions are met.
