Grindleford Gallop

Grindleford Gallop is a 21-mile challenge for runners and walkers held annually in March, set in the hills of the Peak District around Grindleford. The course traverses challenging Derbyshire terrain and, in recent years, has added two shorter options: 15km with about 660m of ascent and 23km with about 1050m of ascent, broadening participation. A notable feature for 2026 is the availability of post-race sports massage to aid recovery.
