Pennine Bridleway PB18km Trail Run

The PB18 is an 18 km spring trail run along the Pennine Bridleway between Hayfield village and Rushup Edge, out and back. The course combines faster trail sections with significant uphill stretches and open Peak District scenery. Total ascent on the route is 806 metres.

The event is run with a flexible start time window so participants may choose their own pace and style, running solo or with companions. The route is self navigated but route finding is straightforward with official Pennine Bridleway finger posts. The organiser provides on course and HQ support from the Ranger Ultras Safety Team.

The event is held under a Trail Running Association permit and run in accordance with England Athletics competition rules. Participants must be 20 years of age or older on race day. The PB18 also serves as a mini recce opportunity for the Ranger Ultras PB270 km event.

Included with entry are navigation notes, on course snacks, fruit and water, and HQ refreshments such as tea, coffee, soft drinks and pizza. Finishers receive eco medals and trophies are awarded to the first male and first female overall. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
