Pennine Bridleway PB18km Trail Running

The event is an 18 km trail running race held on 14 March 2026 and organised by Rangers Expeditions & Ultras. Entry is through the SiEntries system; entries open 13 March 2025 and close 6 March 2026. Minimum age is 18 on the event date. Entry fees are listed as £23 (affiliated) and £25 (unaffiliated). The event uses a staggered start format with a flexible start window. Course, services and compulsory kit

The route runs from Hayfield village to Rushup Edge and back, on trails in the Peak District, with a total ascent of 806 metres. There is an aid station at the Rushup Edge half-way turn and refreshments, hot drinks and finishers medals at Race HQ, located at Hayfield Cricket Pavilion (SK22 2LD). Timekeepers record individual start and finish times and results are published after the event.

The event includes Ranger Safety Team support, navigation notes and a GPX file sent to entered runners. Compulsory kit must be carried or worn and will be checked before the start; key items include a pack or bum bag, waterproof jacket with hood, warm mid-layer, appropriate trail footwear, a hard copy Ordnance Survey/Harvey map, whistle, emergency bivvy bag (foil blanket not acceptable), sufficient food and fluids, a first aid kit and a mobile phone with a standard UK network SIM.
