Grewelthorpe Multi Terrain Race (GMTR)
The Grewelthorpe Multi Terrain Race is scheduled for Sunday 11 October 2026 in Grewelthorpe, Ripon, North Yorkshire, near Masham. It is a 13 kilometre multi terrain, single lap route that climbs above and then descends back into the Dales village and finishes just outside the village.
The course is described as undulating and is not suitable for wheelchairs. The event has an entry limit of 139 places and a stated number of remaining places. The race licence is not applicable.
Race headquarters and race day registration and prize giving are based at St James & Methodist Church, Grewelthorpe, HG4 3BH. Facilities listed for the event include water, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities and baggage storage; there are no showers. At the finish runners are offered bananas, and free soup and flapjacks at the Village Hall. The Village Hall also hosts a volunteer run cafe serving home cooked soup, sandwiches, cakes and drinks throughout the event.
Entry fees are shown as £17.00 for affiliated runners and £19.00 for unaffiliated runners; these prices include race fees, card charges and administration.
