Grewelthorpe Multi Terrain Race (GMTR)
The Grewelthorpe Multi Terrain Race is a single lap, multi terrain event held on 11 October 2026 around the village of Grewelthorpe near Masham in North Yorkshire. The course covers 13 Kilometres and follows an undulating profile that climbs above and then descends back into the Dales village, finishing just outside the village.
The event is organised by St James & Methodist Church, Grewelthorpe, with Race HQ at St James & Methodist Church, Grewelthorpe, Ripon, HG4 3BH, United Kingdom. The race has an entry limit of 139 places and a race licence is not applicable. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Facilities listed for the event include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities and baggage storage; there are no showers. Runners are served bananas at the finish and free soup and flapjacks at the Village Hall. Registration and prize giving take place at the Village Hall, where a volunteer run cafe offers home cooked soup, sandwiches, cakes and drinks during the event.
