Grewelthorpe Multi Terrain Race (GMTR)
The event on Sunday 11th October 2026 is a 13 km multi terrain, single lap run around Grewelthorpe near Masham in Ripon, North Yorkshire. The course is described as undulating and rises above then descends back into the village, finishing just outside the village. The race is not suitable for wheelchairs and a race licence is not applicable.
Race headquarters are at St James & Methodist Church in Grewelthorpe, HG4 3BH. The event has an entry limit of 139 places with 127 places listed as remaining. Facilities at the race include water, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities and baggage storage; there are no showers.
Runners receive bananas at the finish and free soup and flapjacks served at the Village Hall. Registration and prize giving take place at the Village Hall, where a volunteer run cafe serves home cooked soup, sandwiches, cakes and drinks throughout the event.
