Grewelthorpe Multi Terrain Race (GMTR)

The Grewelthorpe Multi Terrain Race (GMTR) is a 13-kilometre single-lap run held in the scenic countryside of Grewelthorpe, near Masham in North Yorkshire. The undulating course climbs above and descends back into the picturesque Dales village, finishing just outside Grewelthorpe. Participants enjoy a challenging and exhilarating route with water stations, distance markers, and facilities including toilets, changing rooms, and baggage storage.

After the race, runners are treated to free soup, flapjacks, and bananas at the village hall, which also hosts registration, prize giving, and a volunteer-run café. The event is organized by St James & Methodist Church, Grewelthorpe. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
