Malham 10k Trail Race
The Malham 10k Trail Race is the third race in the Due North Trail Trilogy. The event is based at Malham Show Field in Malham village, BD23 4DA, and the route passes notable features such as Malham Cove and Malham Tarn. The course includes a climb to Weets Top followed by a long descent with open views.
The course is partly way marked. Drinks stations supply water and juice, and a post race meal such as pie or soup is provided. Participants receive a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise and items from race sponsors. Free car parking is available at the venue. A toilet block with male and female toilets is located in the race field.
Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, and a cup or bottle for water because no cups are provided at the drinks stations. Runners should carry a mobile phone with the race day emergency number stored and a location app such as OS Locate or ViewRanger.
Prizes are available on the day for first, second and third placed male and female, open and non-binary categories, and first place in V40, V50, V60 and V70 plus age groups. The minimum age to compete is 17. Entry fees are listed by affiliation with a small series discount available for entering multiple events.
