Malham Trail Half
The Malham Trail Half Marathon takes place on Saturday 4 September 2027 and uses the Malham Show Field (BD23 4DA) as venue for event services and the finish. The route passes notable local landmarks including Malham Cove and Malham Tarn, and includes a climb to Weets Top followed by a long descent with wide views.
The course is partially way marked and offers drinks stations supplying water and juice. Facilities listed for participants include a post race meal such as pie or soup, Due North merchandise, sponsor goodies and free car parking. Toilets are located at the back of the race field.
Runners must register at the tent in the car park to collect race numbers. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, and a cup or bottle because cups are not provided at drink stations. Participants are asked to carry a mobile phone with the event contact number stored and a location app such as OS Locate.
Entry information notes a minimum age of 17. Entry fees differ by affiliation with UKA/TRA and there is a discount when entering multiple events in the series. Prize giving on the day will present 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for male, female and non-binary open categories and first places in V40, V50, V60 and V70+ age groups.
