Burnsall Fell Race

Website Registration

Burnsall Fell Race is a BOFRA Championship counter staged in Burnsall village, Wharfedale, along the B6160 between Grassington and Addingham. The event covers about 1.50 miles (2.40 km) with around 800 feet (240 m) of climb. The course climbs steadily through fields, then a short steep ascent through heather to a cairn, continues along the summit to the trig point, and descends, often finishing with a crest over the edge.

The village atmosphere is characteristic of BOFRA events, with parking in a field nearby, typically £3 per car, and options for both senior and junior routes. It offers a traditional fell-running atmosphere and is a staple of BOFRA racing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
