Burnsall Fell Race
The Burnsall Fell Race takes place in Burnsall village, Wharfedale, on the B6160 between Grassington and Addingham. The scheduled date is Sunday 6th September 2026. The course begins with a steady climb across fields, continues with a short steep ascent through heather to a cairn, proceeds along the summit to a trig point, and then returns downhill, often following a direct route down the fell side.
The listed distance and climb are 1.50 miles / 2.40 km with 800 feet / 240 meters of ascent. The event is a BOFRA Championship counter and provides both senior and junior routes. Age categories cover Under 9, Under 12, Under 14, Under 17 and Seniors.
