Panther Takes The Hindmost

Panther Takes The Hindmost is an ultramarathon held at Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs in the UK, featuring a unique elimination format. Runners start with four qualifying laps of a 10.5km trail loop around the reservoirs, each with 375ft of climb. After these initial laps, elimination laps begin where the last runner to finish each lap is removed from the race.

This continues until only three runners remain, who then compete until a single winner is determined. The event allows rest and resupply at the car park start/finish area, includes public toilets, and offers ITRA and UTMB points based on distance completed.
