About the race
Punk Panther Takes the Hindmost is an ultramarathon-style elimination race around the Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs, starting from the Swinsty/Fewston Car Park in North Lane, LS21 2NP. Runners complete 10 km loops, with four qualifying laps on a 10.5 km trail before eliminations begin. After each lap the last finisher is removed until three remain, who continue to race for the overall winner.
The course runs clockwise along reservoir paths and is largely unmarked, with provisional GPX files and final instructions sent to competitors. Finishers receive a medal and T-shirt; toilets are in the car park; maximum entrants 30. ITRA/UTMB points may apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
