BOFRA - Reeth Show
The Reeth Show fell race is organised by the British Open Fell Runners Association and takes place near Reeth on the B6270 between Richmond and Kirkby Stephen (DL11 6AR). The course starts up fields and continues onto a narrow track through bracken, then crosses a road and climbs the rough fellside to Fremington Edge, with the summit usually marked by a flag. The route then follows the ridge briefly, drops through old quarry workings, returns to the road and finishes with a run through fields back to the showfield, including a circuit of the ring.
Race details list the distance as 2.00 miles / 3.20 km with 700 feet / 220 meters of climb. The event counts as a BOFRA Championship counter and includes both senior and junior routes. A new Under-9 race was introduced in 2024.
Age categories cover Under 9, Under 12, Under 14, Under 17 and Seniors. A race map and a race profile are not available on the race page. The race has archived results and reports from multiple years, and the show provides event information and location details including Grid Reference 43991 and What Three Words ///hopefully.ahead.glides.
