Greg Shank Memorial 5K Run/Walk

The Greg Shank Memorial 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, July 3, 2027, at American Legion Post 202, 400 American Legion Ave., Williamsport, MD 21795. The event is presented as a combined run and walk over a 5-kilometer course.

Registration fees are tiered by date: $25 for entrants pre-registered by Wednesday, June 18, 2027, and $30 thereafter. All entrants who are pre-registered by June 18, 2027 will receive an event t-shirt. Online registration closes Thursday, July 1, 2027 at 5:00 PM. T-shirts and awards are distributed only to participants who are present. No refunds are offered and the event will be held rain or shine.

Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and to the top two male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups are: 12 and under; 13-15; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; and 70 and over.

River-water will be provided for adult participants after the race. Proceeds from the event benefit the Greg Shank Memorial Scholarship Fund.
