Greenwich Alliance Turkey Trot 5K, 1 Mile & Mini-Trot
The event is the 16th annual Greenwich Alliance Turkey Trot and a Thanksgiving weekend tradition. It is the largest fundraiser for the Greenwich Alliance for Education, which is celebrating 20 years of impact in 2026. The venue is Roger Sherman Baldwin Park at 100 Arch Street in Greenwich, Connecticut. Race direction is provided by Greenwich Road Runners.
The 5K is a certified timed race that follows a scenic, flat loop through Bruce Park. The program also includes a 1 Mile fun run and a Mini Trot for young children.

Mini Trot details: ages 3 to 5 only, children finish along a chute, t shirts are provided, no bibs, stickers awarded, adults watch from the sidelines, and strollers, bikes, and trikes are not permitted. Children aged 6 or older must register for the 1 Mile event.
Registration and fees: registration opens on 2026-09-23 for most events. Standard adult fee for the 5K and 1 Mile is $40, with an increase scheduled on 2026-11-01 and a higher fee on race day. Child pricing for ages 6 to 12 is $20. Mini Trot registration fee is $20. Virtual 5K registration fee is $25 and virtual entrants do not receive medals or t shirts.
