Greenwich Alliance Turkey Trot 5K, 1 Mile and Mini-Trot
The Greenwich Alliance Turkey Trot is the 16th annual Thanksgiving weekend event and the largest fundraiser for the Greenwich Alliance for Education, which is marking 20 years of impact in 2026. The on-site races start and finish at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, 100 Arch Street in Greenwich, and follow a scenic, flat loop through Bruce Park. The 5K is a certified, timed course. Race direction is provided by the Greenwich Road Runners.
Distances and formats:
- 5K: certified timed race
- 1 Mile: fun run/walk
- Mini-Trot: ages 3 to 5, t-shirts and stickers provided, no bibs
- Virtual 5K: run anytime, submit times starting 11/28/2026; no medals or t-shirts
Registration and fees are specified by the organizer. Registration opens 9/23/2026. Initial adult pricing for the 5K and 1 Mile is $40 and increases to $50 on 11/1 and $55 on race day. Child pricing for ages 6 to 12 is $20. Mini-Trot entry is $20 for ages 3 to 5; children age 6 or older must register for the 1 Mile. The virtual 5K entry is $25. Registration closing dates vary by event.
