Event overview
The Greenwich Alliance Turkey Trot is scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025, in Greenwich, CT. This is the 15th annual edition and is described as a Thanksgiving weekend tradition and the largest fundraiser for the Greenwich Alliance for Education. The event includes a certified, timed 5K and a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk that start at the Arch Street Teen Center and follow a scenic, flat loop through Bruce Park. The race is directed by the Greenwich Road Runners.

Registration is required and fees apply. For the 5K and 1-Mile events, prices increase after October 31, 2025. A child rate is available for participants 12 years and younger and is applied automatically at checkout when a birthdate is entered. The Mini Trot is open to ages 3 to 5; children 6 years or older must register for the 1-Mile event. The Mini Trot runs along the finish chute, includes a t-shirt and stickers, does not use bibs, and does not allow strollers, bikes, or trikes. The Mini Trot registration closes on race day.
