About the race
The Greenwich Alliance Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving weekend running event held on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at the Arch Street Teen Center in Greenwich, Connecticut. The event includes a certified timed 5K, a 1 Mile fun run/walk, and a Mini Trot for young children, all following a flat loop route that passes through Bruce Park. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Greenwich Alliance for Education and is organized with race direction provided by Greenwich Road Runners.

Entry fees for the 5K and 1 Mile are listed with an adult base price of $40 and a child price of $20 for ages 6 to 12; the child price is applied when a participant birthdate is entered. Mini Trot registration is listed at $20. The Mini Trot is structured as a short, supervised run along the chute across the finish line; participants receive a t-shirt and stickers, do not wear bibs, and adults watch from the sidelines. Strollers, bikes, and trikes are not permitted in the Mini Trot. Children aged six or older are required to register for the 1 Mile fun run/walk rather than the Mini Trot.
