Hip-Hop Turkey Trot
The Hip-Hop Turkey Trot is the second annual community run and fun event held in Soundview Park in the Bronx. The event features a 2.5 mile course through a park that is part of the Bronx River Greenway and associated with the Bronx River Alliance. The park is described as a well maintained natural habitat park system.
The event connects running with local culture by recognizing that hip hop started in the Bronx and has continued to evolve. Organizers present the event as a way to bring people together who are thankful for food, sharing, and caring. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to support Feeding America.
Registration opens March 11, 2026 and closes November 26, 2026. The registration fee is $25. The event area provides a welcome desk, public parking, registration and packet pickup, bag check, three open park restrooms, warm up and cool down lawn areas, and awards presented as a cup trophy.
