Greenway Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
The Greenway Half Marathon, 10K & 5K takes place in Leetonia, Ohio. This annual event uses the Little Beaver Creek Greenway Trail, a paved path that serves as the course for all three distances. The start and finish lines are located at the Leetonia Trailhead.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) with a 3-hour time limit
- 10K
- 5K
- Virtual Half Marathon
The event is chip-timed, and the organizers provide support stations along the routes. The 5K includes a water stop at 1.5 miles, while the 10K features stops at 1.5 and 4.5 miles. The Half Marathon includes seven water stops distributed between miles 1.5 and 11.6, with energy gels available on the course. Refreshments and snacks are provided at the finish line, and restrooms are located at the trailhead.
Registered participants receive a long-sleeve shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. Awards are given to overall and age group winners across all distances. On race day, parking is restricted at the trailhead. Instead, participants and spectators park at Leetonia High School and use a shuttle bus service to reach the start line.
