Greenway Half Marathon, 10K & 5K - Leetonia, OH
The Greenway Half Marathon, 10K & 5K is the fourth annual event organized by GCXC Racing. The event offers these distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Virtual
All courses run on the paved Little Beaver Creek Greenway Trail and begin and finish at the Leetonia Trailhead near One Saint Peter Street. There is no parking at the trailhead. Participants and spectators use parking at Leetonia High School and are shuttled to the trailhead; the shuttle ride is about five minutes. Packet pick-up takes place at the high school. Restrooms are available at the trailhead. Bag check uses tags distributed at registration and a self-check area at the start/finish gazebo. Refreshments and snacks are available at the finish line.
All distances are professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown. The half marathon has a three hour time limit. GU will be provided at water stops along the course. Water stop locations are listed as 1.5 miles for the 5K; 1.5 and 4.5 miles for the 10K; and 1.5, 3.3, 4.9, 6.5, 8.3, 9.8, and 11.6 miles for the half marathon.
Unique finisher medals and custom long sleeve shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by November 1. Optional hoodies are available.
