Event Overview
The Stars & Stripes running event will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Aubrey, Texas. The event is held at Greenbelt 428 Park. This will be the second annual edition of the race.
Distances
Participants can choose from several distances:
- Half-Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- A free Kid's Dash (a 100–200 meter sprint)
Registration Details
Registration for the 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, and 1 Mile includes an event-themed t-shirt and a custom finisher medal. Registering by March 14 guarantees a t-shirt in the requested size. A virtual race option is also available for 2026, where the shirt and medal are shipped to the participant.
Awards and Timing
The event is gun-timed. Age group awards are given for the 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon distances, with the top four finishers in each division receiving a medal. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. Overall awards are also presented for top male, female, masters (40+), and grand masters (60+) runners. The 1 Mile event is untimed and does not have age group awards.
Additional Options
A new 1 Mile option has been added for 2026. The Kid's Dash is free to enter, though shirts and medals can be purchased as add-ons. The organization also seeks volunteers, who can earn a code for a free future race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
