2026 SCHEELS All Abilities 5K

The SCHEELS All Abilities 5K takes place in The Colony, Texas, starting at the Scheels location on Destination Drive. Now in its third year, this inclusive event features a certified course designed for multiple types of participation. The event is open to:

5 km (Runners, walkers, hand cyclists, and wheelchair users)

Registered participants receive a custom race finisher shirt, a specific event bib, and a finisher medal. The event site offers free parking for attendees. Before and after the race, a vendor experience is available on-site, along with post-race fuel for participants.

The event includes an after-party featuring a live DJ and entries into drawings for various prize packages. Proceeds from the race are directed to several partner organizations, including the Adaptive Training Foundation, Powered to Move, Special Olympics Texas, and Fearless Ventures.

Packet pickup is organized at the SCHEELS store location on the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday leading up to the race. The event coincides with the late March spring season in Texas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
