4th Annual Greendale Run for the Parks and Trails
The event is the fourth annual fundraiser organized by the Greendale Trail Association to help pay for Greendale's parks and trails. It takes place behind the Panther Pub at 5651 Broad St, Greendale, WI 53129.
Distances and age categories include:
- 3.1 Miles (5K Run) for ages 11 and up.
- 3.1 Miles (5K Run) for ages 10 and under.
- 2 Miles (Walk) for ages 11 and up; includes a historical tour.
- 2 Miles (Walk) for ages 10 and under.
Packet pickup is behind the Panther Pub between 9:15 am and 10:15 am, where participants receive one ticket for a free beer or soda on the Panther Pub patio, their bib, and a T-shirt when available. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after August 23; those registered later may pick up shirts at the Panther Pub on September 27. Children ages 10 and under who sign up for the 2-mile walk do not receive a T-shirt.
After the event there will be music, awards presented as gold, silver, and bronze medals by age bracket, and a raffle for everyone who is registered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
