GTC Green Valley Road Race
The GTC Green Valley Road Race takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Trailblazer Park Pavilion in Travelers Rest, SC 29690. This is the 49th running of the event. There are two race options:
- 10 mile - certified course that runs from Trailblazer Park out to Green Valley and back.
- 5k - non-certified course that stays mostly in Travelers Rest neighborhoods.
Both courses are described as hilly. The venue includes restrooms with plumbing and a pavilion for shelter. The 10 mile event includes a high quality Next Level brand hoodie (unisex sizes) as the included giveaway. The 5k includes a high quality Next Level brand long sleeve t-shirt (unisex sizes). Shirt sizes are available during registration and giveaways are subject to availability after January 25.
Logistics, prizes and packet pickup
The 10 mile race serves as the open championship for USATFSC. USATFSC members who supply their membership number before the race are eligible for prize money and championship placement. Prize money for overall male and female finishers is $100 for 1st, $75 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd. Masters (40+) prize money is $75 for 1st, $50 for 2nd, and $25 for 3rd.
Primary packet pickup is at Greenville Running Company, 765 Haywood Road. Secondary packet pickup is at the Trailblazer Park pavilion on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
