Green Eyes Gallop
The Green Eyes Gallop is a running event held on October 17, 2026 in Chickamauga, GA as part of the Green Eyes Festival. The organizer presents the event as the 2nd Annual Green Eyes Gallop and encourages participants to wear costumes; costumes are optional.

Courses pass through and around downtown Chickamauga and include the Chickamauga Wetlands Trail. The Monster Mile route loops near the Helicopter Park. All participants receive a Green Eyes swag bag. Podium prizes are awarded to the first, second and third place male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K.
The festival features free admission and lists live music, craft vendors and food among its activities. The event includes a costume contest with categories for individual, partner, group and a kid’s division for those 12 and under. Contest rules require participants to run or walk the race in costume to be eligible for prizes; groups and pairs must be judged together and must have a visible race number and a designated team captain for judging purposes.
A one child Monster Mile entry may be offered free with purchase of a 5K or 10K entry via a code provided after registration. Registration fees are shown in the event offer range of USD 18.50 to USD 43.50. A $5 discount is available to GUTS members using the member code.
