Chattanooga Mountains Stage Race
The Chattanooga Mountains Stage Race is a three-day trail running stage race around Chattanooga, TN, totaling about 60 miles. The event includes three individual stages of approximately 22, 18, and 20 miles on trails in the Chattanooga area, including Lula Lake on Lookout Mountain, the Cumberland Trail along North Chattanooga Creek, and Signal Mountain.

The event is intended for experienced trail runners. Participants are expected to be able to comfortably hold a 15 minute per mile pace for 20 miles on moderately difficult trails. Strict time cut-offs apply; the published cut-offs include 20 miles - 5.5 hours, 18 miles - 5 hours, and 22 miles - 6 hours.
Membership to Wild Trails provides a 10 percent discount on race entry at any membership level, and the Trail Steward membership level includes free entry into any three races except the Upchuck 50K. Race proceeds benefit Wild Trails, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the use, protection and expansion of nature trails in the greater Chattanooga area.
