Event Overview
The Spooky Sprint - Chattanooga is an annual Halloween-themed running event held in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Distance Options
The event features several race distances:
- Kids Dash (50m): An untimed event for children ages 10 and under.
- 1 Mile: An untimed distance including commemorative items.
- 5K (3.1 Miles): A chip-timed race with live results.
- 10K (6.2 Miles): A chip-timed race with live results.
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles): A long-distance chip-timed race.
Participant Rewards and Timing
Registered participants for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. These distances utilize chip-timing technology to provide live results and categorical awards. Professional photos are also provided to participants at no additional cost. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed segments. Children participating in the Kids Dash receive a youth-sized shirt and a medal specifically designed for the youth event; however, children may also participate in this specific dash for free if they do not require the event swag.
Additional Features
The event provides treats for participants at the finish line. A "Volunteer then Run" option is also available, allowing individuals to assist with event logistics before participating in a race distance of their choice. For those unable to attend the venue in Chattanooga, a virtual race option allows for remote participation with the same commemorative items shipped to the runner.
