Sugar Rush Relay - 2026
The Sugar Rush Relay is a two-day running and rucking relay held in Sugar Land, Texas on November 13–14, 2026. The event centers on a 5 mile loop that begins at Talyard Brewing Co and follows Oyster Creek. The route includes a halfway aid station at Old Kempner Stadium, passes the Imperial Sugar Mill and Constellation Field Stadium, and returns to the brewery.

The relay format covers 75 miles in total. Teams may consist of one to five participants; five-member teams complete 15 laps of the 5 mile course. There are separate running and rucking divisions. Ruck participants must meet weight minimums: 30 lb if they weigh more than 150 lb, 20 lb if they weigh less than 150 lb. The weight does not include the rucksack or water. Only rucks are allowed, not weighted vests. Weigh-ins occur at team check-in.
Registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes July 1, 2026. The registration fee is $40 per entry. The event supports Autism Awareness and fundraising for the local charity Hope For Three with a stated $3000 goal.
