2026 Sugar Rush Relay
The Sugar Rush Relay is a multi-division 75 mile endurance event held November 13 and 14, 2026 at Constellation Field Lot B, 1 Stadium Drive, Sugar Land, Texas. The course is a 5 mile loop that passes Oyster Creek, City Park, Old Kempner Stadium, and the Imperial Sugar Mill, with the halfway aid station at Sugar Mill Elementary School. Teams of five normally complete 15 laps for a total of 75 Miles; teams smaller or larger than five are permitted with a maximum of 10 on relay teams. For fairness, teams with more than five members are not eligible for first place in the relay division.
Three divisions are offered: running relay, ruck relay, and ultra. Solo and paired participants may enter the ultra division. Ruck teams may range from one to five ruckers and must meet minimum carried weight rules: 30 lb minimum if the rucker weighs more than 150 lb, 20 lb minimum if the rucker weighs less than 150 lb. Ruck weight does not include the rucksack or water. Weighted vests are not permitted. Weigh-ins occur at team check-in. A dedicated tent area for ultra runners is located near the start, aid station, and medics.
Registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes July 1, 2026; the registration fee is $40. The event supports Autism Awareness and fundraising for the local charity Hope For Three, with a stated fundraising goal of $3000. Volunteers are requested and teen volunteer hours are possible.
