The Turkey Shuffle is a running event scheduled for November 14, 2026, in Houston. The exact location is to be determined.
Distances
Multiple race distances are offered:
- Kids Dash: Approximately 50 meters for children 10 years and under.
- 1 Mile Run.
- 5K Run (3.1 miles).
- 10K Run (6.22 miles).
- Virtual Run option.
The 5K and 10K events are chip-timed. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are not timed.
Features and Awards
All finishers of every distance receive a medal and a t-shirt. The 5K and 10K events award trophies to the first overall male and female finishers. These races also feature standard age group awards, with pins awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category.
A Thanksgiving-themed costume contest is held, with the winner receiving a "Biggest Turkey" trophy and a prize pack. Music is provided by DJ Sasquatch. The event includes aid stations on the course.
