Grape Day 5K : Escondido, California
Grape Day 5K is the sixteenth running of a community 5 kilometer event held on September 5, 2026, with the start and finish at Grape Day Park, 321 N Broadway, Escondido, CA 92025. The course passes along Grand Ave and through historic Escondido. Participants may join in person or complete a personal 5k remotely before the event date.
Registration and entry fees are listed as $40 in advance and $45 on race day. The fee includes an entry, the option to participate in person or virtually, and a t-shirt and medal. If the event cannot proceed in person, it will be held as a virtual event and shirts and medals will be mailed to participants.
Awards are given for the top three times for male and female finishers in these age divisions: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
Proceeds from registration and fundraising support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Pacific South Coast Chapter and the Escondido Sunrise Rotary. The event is presented with local sponsors and organizers. The event proceeds rain or shine; no refunds are issued.
