Grandview Street Mile
The Grandview Street Mile is a competitive road race held in downtown Columbus, Ohio. This event takes place during the larger Tour de Grandview Cycling Classic, a long-standing cycling competition that attracts international professional cyclists and enthusiasts to the central Ohio area. The race is conducted on a course that has been formally measured and granted USATF certification (Course ID OH25011JHP).
Participants compete on a 1-mile course through the streets of Grandview. The event structure includes an elite field and an all-comers section. Elite runners are positioned at the front of the starting line, followed by the general field. All participants start simultaneously following an audible signal. Cash prizes and footwear are awarded to the top three male and female finishers who cross the line first.
The race is integrated into a larger community festival environment. The surrounding Tour de Grandview Street Party features live music, food vendors, and local craft beer located on Grandview Avenue between First and Third. Registered participants receive an event t-shirt and a finisher towel. Early registration is recommended as the number of available spots is restricted and expected to reach capacity before the event date.
