Run with Passion 5K Run/Walk
The 13th annual Run with Passion 5K Run/Walk takes place at Glacier Ridge Metro Park in Dublin, Ohio. This charitable event supports the Passion Center for Children, a non-profit organization serving communities in Zomba, Malawi. All net proceeds from the race are directed toward the organization's programs, which include child-headed household support, healthcare initiatives, and special needs programs.
The event offers two main participation options:
- 5K Run/Walk (In-Person)
- 5K Run/Walk (Virtual)
Participants who register by May 20 receive a custom race t-shirt and a bib. On-site registration is available on the morning of the event at the park. For those choosing the virtual option, results can be submitted manually through the race website or automatically via the RaceJoy application between June 7 and June 9.
Awards include hand-carved finisher medals from Malawi for the first 150 finishers. Specialized hand-carved awards are also presented to the top three male, female, and youth finishers. A registration discount is available for children aged 12 and under. Additionally, groups that form a team of four can receive a partial refund on their registration fees.
