Grand Old Day Fun Run

The Grand Old Day Fun Run takes place on June 7, 2026, at Grand Avenue and Snelling Avenue South in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The event offers a community 5K run/walk and a kids 1/2 mile, both organized as out-and-back courses along Grand Avenue. The 5K turnaround is near Avon Avenue and the kids 1/2 mile turnaround is near Pascal Avenue.

Packet pick-up is available the day before at Big Island Poke (74 Snelling Ave S) and also on the morning of the event. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed only through May 22. The event will not be chip timed. Participants of all ages are invited and strollers are welcome.

There is no designated race parking; free parking can be found on neighboring streets but some streets require permits, so participants should note posted signs. Registration fees vary by date and option: 5K prices range from $40 to $50 depending on shirt selection, and the kids 1/2 mile fee is $10. Sponsors listed for the event include Kinderberry Hill for the kids 1/2 mile and in-kind supporters such as Nothing Bundt Cakes, Big Island Poke, Orangetheory Fitness, Jonny Pops, and LMNT.
