Grand Old Day Fun Run : event details
The Grand Old Day Fun Run takes place on June 7, 2026, at Grand Avenue and Snelling Avenue South in Saint Paul, MN. The event is held before the Grand Old Day parade and uses an out-and-back course on Grand Avenue that starts and ends at Snelling Avenue. The 5k turnaround is near Avon Avenue and the kid's 1/2 mile turnaround is near Pascal Avenue. The event is family-friendly, open to participants of all ages, and strollers are welcome. The event will not be chip timed.

Logistics and registration
Packet pick-up is available on the Saturday before the event at a Grand Avenue location to be determined, and on the morning of the race at the event site. T-shirt sizes and availability are only guaranteed through May 15. Registration fees vary by registration period: the 5k with a t-shirt ranges from $30 to $45, the 5k without a t-shirt ranges from $25 to $40, and the kid's 1/2 mile registration is $10. There is no designated race parking; free parking can be found on neighboring streets but some streets require a permit, so participants should note posted signs.
