Event overview
The GR-8H Trail Race is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, at North Peninsula State Park (Gamble Rogers Memorial Recreation Area) in Ormond Beach, FL. The event is organized by East Coast Trail Racing and is the fourth race produced by the organizer. The race uses a roughly 2 mile loop on single-track trail that is described as non-technical and slightly rolling, located between the intracoastal waterway and the ocean. The park offers campground space, an area for a tent city, and restroom facilities.

- 8-hour event on a repeated loop
The 8-hour format allows participants to complete as many laps as they choose within the time period. A separate 5K is offered on the trail for shorter-distance participants or younger runners. Registration is limited to 70 entrants. Registration closes on Wednesday, March 11 at 11:59 PM ET.
