NSB Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble 5K - 2026
The NSB Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble is scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2026, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The event takes place at the Flagler Avenue Boardwalk beach, 101 Buenos Aires St, with the course starting and finishing on the beach in front of the boardwalk.
This is a beach run and walk over sand covering a 5K distance. The event is chip timed using disposable electronic chips attached to the bib. Organizers request that the bib be worn unaltered on the front of the shirt and pinned at all four corners for accurate timing. There is a water stop on the course that participants pass twice and a water refill station at the start and finish area.
Registration includes a race-specific shirt subject to size availability, a finisher medal, and free professional race photos available for download after the event. An after the race celebration will be held at Flagler Tavern where participants receive Flagler Tavern Bucks; top overall, top masters, and top three in each age group will be recognized there. Age groups cover competitors from ages 10 to 14 up through 80 and older.
Practical notes: packet pickup is available the day before and the morning of the event, pets are not allowed, the event is rain or shine, and registration fees are non-refundable with no transfers. Early online registration is priced at $30; in person registration on race day is $35 and accepts cash or check.
