Gorham 4-Miler
The Gorham 4-Miler is a road running event of 4 Miles held in Gorham, Maine on June 17, 2027. The event is based at the Gorham Recreation Department on Ball Park Rd and welcomes both runners and walkers.
Registration opens June 26, 2026 and closes September 17, 2026. Published entry fees include a $26 Wicked Early Bird pre-registration rate by September 17, a $29 rate through April 1, a $34 rate thereafter, and a $39 race day fee. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by May 26 and are available while supplies last.
Amenities include free pizza from Gorham House of Pizza. The event awards a $50 cash prize for overall winners and age-group awards in ten-year categories from 14 and under through 80 and over. Additional awards are given for top running club, corporate team, and open teams with four or more members. Course record times are listed as 20:21 for men (2021) and 23:13 for women (2016).
Proceeds benefit a memorial scholarship that supports post-secondary education for a Gorham High School student whose life was lost in the September 11, 2001 attacks. There are no refunds. If catastrophic weather, a public health crisis, or other extreme events prevent the scheduled date, efforts will be made to move the event to an alternate date or convert it to a virtual format.
