The Good Space Dash for the Beads takes place on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in Dallas, Texas at 608 N. Clinton (ZIP 75208). The event includes two distance options:
- 5K Run
- 1-mile Fun Run / walk
Entry fees listed on the event page are $40 for the 5K and $25 for the 1-mile fun run. Participants who register by January 15, 2026 are guaranteed event t-shirts. Early packet pickup details are listed as to be determined. On race day there will be registration and packet pickup, a DJ, the fun run, the 5K, awards, and the Oak Cliff Mardi Gras parade.
Charity, awards and beneficiaries
Dash for the Beads is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds support Oak Cliff and Dallas-area schools and non-profits that promote physical fitness, healthy eating and arts programming for children. Since 2014 donations awarded total $325,000, and over $27,000 in free entries were given to about 675 DISD school children in the past three years. Awards are given 1st through 3rd for male and female in overall and age-group categories: 12 and under, 13-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
