Trail Running in the Marin Headlands
The Golden Gate Trail Classic is a trail running event organized by Spartan Trail. The race takes place across two days in January. Participants have the opportunity to travel across the Golden Gate Bridge and enter the Marin Headlands. The courses provide views of the surrounding mountains and the sea.
The event offers several distinct distances to accommodate different specializations in trail running:

The routes are designed to showcase the natural landscape of the San Francisco area and the fabled terrain of the Headlands.
