Golden Gate Half Marathon & 5K : November 1, 2026
The event on November 1, 2026 is the 24th edition of the Golden Gate Half Marathon & 5K in San Francisco. It offers two official distances:

The half marathon course crosses the Golden Gate Bridge twice and provides sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay and city landmarks, including Fisherman’s Wharf. The 5K route is presented as a shorter option that allows participants to run or walk while taking in bay and city views.
Race weekend programming includes packet pick-up and a race expo, an event schedule, and information about travel and parking. Results and race photos are published after the event. The event also lists volunteer opportunities and charity, ambassador, fundraising, and run club options as ways to get involved. A VIP option is available.
Registration terms state that all registration fees are non-refundable. Race management, city officials, and local law enforcement have the authority to cancel events for emergency reasons such as inclement weather, a pandemic, or threats to safety; if cancellation occurs for these reasons, refunds cannot be provided.
