Golden Gate Double
The Golden Gate Double event on Sunday August 2, 2026 takes place near the Golden Gate Bridge at Crissy Field in San Francisco, California. The event comprises three separate races held along routes that pass through the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

- Golden Gate Double 8K (5K plus a break and a 3K leg)
The course begins on historic Crissy Field near the Presidio. Organizers state that more than 80% of the course offers views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Course maps are provided for the 5K leg, the 3K leg, and the 10K.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Sports Basement, 610 Old Mason Street, San Francisco; same-day packet pickup is also offered at that address. All participants receive a high-tech shirt and all finishers receive a special Golden Gate medal. Winners in the 5K, 10K and Double 8K are recognized in ten-year age groups (19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 plus) with special medals and trophies. The Double 8K carries $200 in prize money, with $100 awarded to the first man and $100 to the first woman.
