Gold Rush Race 5K/10K 2026
The Gold Rush Race is scheduled for March 14, 2026 in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. The event includes multiple timed and untimed distances and a separate kids sprint held in conjunction with the town's Irish heritage celebration. The start and finish line are located in front of the Tyrone Armory at 956 S. Logan Ave, Tyrone PA 16686.

- 5 km run and walker-only option
- 10 km Lenny the Leprechaun's Hill Challenge
- Kids sprint for children 9 and under
- Student 5K and student 10K for participants 18 and under
Proceeds benefit the Tyrone Area Food Bank. On the day of the event the food bank will accept donations of cereal and oatmeal. The food bank serves clients in the Bellwood-Antis and Tyrone Area School Districts and operates as a volunteer 501(c)(3) organization.
Registration options include early registration, day-of registration, mailed paper entries, and mailed payment by check. Early registrants who register by February 25 are guaranteed a long sleeve shirt; registration packages include a long sleeve shirt and a race goodie bag with available sizes from youth S to adult 2XL. Race timing is provided by Miles of Smiles Timing Services. In the event of cancellation due to weather, proceeds will be given to the event benefactor.
