Going Jurassic for the Trees!
Madera South FFA presents the first annual Going Jurassic for the Trees 5k on April 26, 2026 in Madera, California at 705 W Pecan Ave. The event is organized as a community 5k run and walk that aims to encourage physical activity and provide information about FFA and local agriculture.
Events include:
- 5k Run/Walk on campus
- Virtual 5k with shirt and medal mailed to participants
Every in-person participant will receive a dinosaur medal and a young fruit tree ready for planting. While moving around the campus, participants will encounter dinosaurs from the Jurassic era that will cheer or roar along the route. The virtual option provides a mailed shirt and medal for participants who complete the 5k remotely. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
