Event overview
The San Joaquin River Trail 10k/25k/50k takes place on Saturday, December 5, 2026 in Friant, CA (ZIP 93602). The event offers three distances:

Entry prices listed on the event page are $133.50 (50k, incl. $8.50 fee), $80.50 (25k, incl. $5.50 fee) and $48.70 (10k, incl. $3.70 fee). Each event shows 210 spots available and a price increase after April 29, 2026. No race day entries are allowed.
Course and logistics
The course runs on trails along Millerton Lake and the San Joaquin River. The start and finish are at the South Finegold Picnic Area at the end of Sky Harbor Road in Friant; parking is at that picnic area. Course maps and profiles are available for each distance.
Aid stations are provided approximately every 5 miles and will offer water, sports drink, gels, fruit, snacks and basic first aid. Pacers are allowed for the 50k at Mile 16 (SJR Gorge / Aid Station #3 & #4). Drop bags must be marked "Drop bags" with the bib number and will be located at the San Joaquin River Gorge Management Area, Ya Gub Weh Tuh Campground. Crew access for the 50k is available at that management area near Mile 14.5.
Camping is available on the north side of Millerton Lake and near the 50k turnaround, each about a 30-minute drive from the start. Nearest lodging is in Clovis and Fresno. No refunds after 09/01/2024; bib transfers allowed until 10/01/2024. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
