San Joaquin River Trail 10k / 25k / 50k
The San Joaquin River Trail runs on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Friant, CA at the S. Finegold Picnic Area. The event offers these distances:

The course follows trails along Millerton Lake and the San Joaquin River. All finishers receive a medal and event swag. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and to first place in age groups.
Logistics and support
The start/finish is located at the South Finegold Picnic Area at the end of Sky Harbor Road. Sky Harbor Road is on the west side of Table Mountain Casino off Millerton Road and runs north for about 6 miles to the picnic area, where parking is located. Packet pickup and check-in are at the Start/Finish area on race day; there are no race-day entries.
Aid stations are placed at roughly five-mile intervals and will provide water, sports drink, gels, fruit, snacks and basic first aid. Drop bags must be labeled with the bib number and will be held at the San Joaquin River Gorge Management Area, Ya Gub Weh Tuh Campground. Crew access is available at that management area near the campground, around mile 14.5 for 50k runners. Pacers are allowed for the 50k at about mile 16. Camping is available on the north side of Millerton Lake and near the 50k turnaround, each about a 30-minute drive from the Start/Finish. Nearest lodging is in Clovis and Fresno. No refunds after 09/01/2024; bib transfers allowed until 10/01/2024. Registration information and event fees are listed on the event page.
