Event overview
The San Joaquin River Trail race takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the S. Finegold Picnic Area in Friant, CA (93602). The course runs on trails along Millerton Lake and the San Joaquin River. Runners in all distances receive a finishers medal and event swag. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and to first place in age groups.

Logistics
The start and finish are at the South Finegold Picnic Area at the end of Sky Harbor Road. Sky Harbor Road is on the west side of Table Mountain Casino off Millerton Road and runs north for about 6 miles to the parking area. Packet pickup and race-day check-in are at the start/finish area. There are no race-day entries.
Aid stations are placed roughly every 5 miles and provide water, sports drink, gels, fruit, snacks, and basic first aid. Pacers are allowed for the 50k at about Mile 16. Crew access and drop bags are handled at the San Joaquin River Gorge Management Area near the Ya Gub Weh Tuh Campground (around mile 14.5 to 16.5 on the 50k); drop bags must be labeled with the bib number. Lodging is nearest in Clovis and Fresno. Camping is available on the north side of Millerton Lake and near the 50k turnaround, each about a 30-minute drive from the start/finish.
