About the race
The Fresno Turkey Trot is the 27th annual community running event presented by Sierra Challenge Express on November 26, 2026 at Woodward Park Mountain View Shelter in Fresno, California. The event supports local charitable causes, including the Fresno Mission and youth and scholarship programs that assist student-athletes.
Distances and participation categories include:
- 5K chip-timed course starting and finishing in front of the Mt. View Shelter.
- 2 Mile Walk untimed; walkers start after the 5K participants.
- Virtual Run run on own course, not eligible for awards; shirt and medallion mailed.
- Kids (0-4) free with parent, no shirt or medal.
Every in-person participant receives a long-sleeve Thanksgiving shirt, a commemorative finisher's medal, and a post-race treat. Virtual participants receive the event shirt and medallion by mail and are not eligible for awards; virtual results are not posted. Registration fees listed for the event categories are $30 for the 5K, 2 Mile Walk, and Virtual Run, and $0 for Kids 0-4.
