Event overview
The Fresno Turkey Trot is the 27th annual Turkey Trot presented by Sierra Challenge Express. The event takes place on November 26, 2026, at Woodward Park Mountain View Shelter, 7775 N Friant Rd, Fresno, CA. The race supports the Central California Food Bank and the Coach Ray Knight Youth and Scholarship Programs. Parking is free inside Woodward Park.

The event offers multiple participation options:
- 5k Run/Walk
- 2 Mile Walk
- Virtual Run - Turkey Trot
- Kids (0-4)
The 5k is chip-timed; the 2-Mile Walk is untimed. The virtual entry does not include the race shirt or finisher medal. Standard entry fees listed include a $32.80 price (includes a $2.80 fee) and a reduced price of $25 for participants age 12 and under. Kids ages 4 and under may register for no fee. Family group pricing applies: 4 to 10 people receive 10% off, 10 or more receive 20% off via the multi-person pricing option.
Packet pickup, awards, and amenities
Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before at Fleet Feet Fresno (corner of Fort Washington and Friant); pickup times are to be determined. Packets are also available on race day. Every in-person participant receives a long-sleeve Thanksgiving shirt, a commemorative finisher’s medal, and a post-race treat.
