Godzilla Thrilla 30 Hour Endurance Run (Bell Lap)
The event is a 30 hour endurance run held on Saturday January 10 to Sunday January 11, 2026, in Anderson, SC (1615 West Market St, 29624). Participants may run as little or as long as they like. The race benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Japan; donations are designated for construction, repair, and operation of Ronald McDonald Houses and the Ronald McDonald Family Room for families of sick children.
Course, facilities, and awards
The course is a 2 mile loop on a paved, well maintained golf cart path with some grass crossovers. The grass on both edges of the path is mowed and can be used for running. A flat grassy camping area sits at the end of each loop directly in front of the indoor bathroom area. Overnight camping is welcomed and encouraged. Parking includes two main parking lots inside, additional grass parking to the right of a metal building, and a paved lot across the street for Saturday non-overnight parking.
Four indoor restrooms are available at the pool house area, and power is available at the start/finish area. Timing is self monitored and a countdown clock will be present. Participants are asked to bring a snack for the aid table and to use their own hydration vessel to support a cup-less event. Finishers receive a race participation medal and distance awards: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
