5th Annual Run for Recovery - Anderson
The 5th Annual Run for Recovery - Anderson is a community road event hosted by The Bridge Center Recovery in Anderson, South Carolina. The Bridge Center Recovery is a treatment facility for men seeking help with drug and alcohol addiction; it has been operating since August 2020 and reports having helped over 300 men in an official capacity.

Race proceeds support the event's Scholarship Fund, which helps finance treatment for men. The current program cost is stated as $4,000 for four months. The 5K will be timed by Upstate Race Series; the 1 Mile Fun Run is not timed. Event shirts are included with 5K registration; 1 Mile participants may purchase shirts. T-shirt availability is tied to early registration deadlines.
Prizes and medals will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Medals will also be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age brackets, including 12 & under through 70+. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine; if weather forces cancellation, registration fees will be treated as donations to The Bridge Center Recovery.
