The 5th Annual Run for Recovery - Anderson takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Anderson, SC. The event is hosted by The Bridge Center Recovery, a treatment facility for men addressing drug and alcohol addiction. The Bridge Center opened in August 2020 and has served over 300 men in an official capacity.

Race format and awards
The 5K will be chip timed by Upstate Race Series. The 1 Mile Fun Run will not be timed. Prizes and medals will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Medals will also be awarded to the top three male and female runners in the following age brackets: 12 & under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+.
Registration, logistics and proceeds
Earlybird registration prices are listed for each event and early pricing ends on March 19. Regular registration fees apply after that date. Event shirts are included for 5K registrants; 1 Mile participants may purchase shirts. Race packet pickup begins at the starting location 45 minutes before the race. The starting location is the East/West Parkway and Highway 81 (Ingles intersection). Race proceeds support The Bridge Center Recovery Scholarship Fund; the program cost is stated as $4,000 for four months.
