Glen Lyon Trail Race

The Glen Lyon Trail Race is a 15.5-mile off-road running event set in the remote and scenic Glen Lyon in the Perthshire hills, Scotland. The course loops around Loch Lyon, featuring approximately six river crossings that ensure wet feet, and includes a steep climb early on followed by undulating terrain before finishing at Glen Lyon Dam. A water station is available around the halfway point.

Camping and runner facilities are provided at the dam the night before the race. Participants must carry mandatory safety kit, including a first aid kit, and adhere to race rules and COVID-19 protocols.
