About the race
The Glamaig Hill Race is a challenging 4.5-mile hill running event held on the Isle of Skye, starting from the Sligachan Hotel. With an ascent of 2,500 feet, it is known as one of the toughest races in Scottish hill running. The race is a short Category A event, requiring all participants to carry windproof body cover due to Skye’s unpredictable weather, with waterproof gear recommended.
