About the race
Applecross Duathlon, staged near Applecross Bay in Scotland, is billed as arguably Scotland’s most spectacular duathlon. The course features 9 miles of running and 15 miles of cycling along a coast road, with about 3,300 feet of ascent and descent across a wild peninsula. A Challenge option makes the event accessible as a fun run or walk for reasonably fit participants, with entrants historically ranging from 10 to 80 years old.
