Skye Half Marathon
The Skye Half Marathon is a long established running event on the Isle of Skye, marking its 43rd year in 2027. The main race is a chip timed loop through the island countryside run on closed roads. The event draws hundreds of runners from around the world.

- Fun Run with finisher medals and age group prizes
- Toddler Dash
Registration is offered on the Friday evening before the race at Portree High School and again on race morning for those who cannot attend earlier. Ten kilometre runners travel to their start by coach. The event is limited to 1000 entries. The organiser states there are no refunds and deferral requests are not accepted after Monday, June 7th. Sponsors include Bakkafrost Scotland and NFU for Lochalsh, Skye and the Outer Hebrides. The event holds an SA licence. Prize giving takes place after the races.
