Girls on the Run Hampton Roads 5K Celebration
The event is a season closing 5K held in Fall 2026 at The Mariners' Museum in Newport News, VA. It is presented as a celebratory 5K that gives program participants a tangible sense of accomplishment and is open to participants of varying abilities.
Registration is offered in two windows. Early bird registration ends October 18 and is priced at $40; this option includes a 5K shirt with size guaranteed, a custom bib, a medal, and a finish line snack. Late registration is priced at $45 and includes a 5K shirt on a first come first serve basis, a fill in the blank bib, a medal, and a finish line snack.
All bibs will be available at each team meet up sign on the morning of the 5K. Program girls and coaches are already registered for the 5K and do not need to register; their bibs will be ready at their team school sign on event morning.
