Eckert's Belleville Farm Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k
The event is a chip timed 5k run and walk at Eckert’s Belleville Farm in Belleville, Illinois on November 7, 2026. The course starts and finishes at Eckert’s and is an out and back route that includes a tour of the St. Clair County Transit Bike Trail.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib, online results, and a pour of wine for eligible participants. The race is chip timed and results are posted online.
Age group awards are offered for ten year categories with custom awards for the top three finishers in each category; categories include 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 & Over. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards, and awards must be picked up on the day of the event.
The local charity partner is Operation Food Search, a hunger relief organization founded in 1981 that serves about 200,000 individuals monthly through a network of 330 community partners in 27 Missouri and Illinois counties. Minors may participate with a discounted registration that excludes the wine pour and glass. Strollers are permitted though not recommended due to uneven ground and dogs are not allowed on site.
