Girls on the Run Southeastern Wisconsin 5K : 2026 Fall Celebration
Girls on the Run Southeastern Wisconsin holds a season-closing 5K celebration on November 8, 2026, at American Family Field Tailgate Haus in Milwaukee. The event marks the end of the program season and gives participants a concrete goal to complete.
The course distance is a 5K, equivalent to 3.1 miles. The event is presented as a celebratory, noncompetitive occasion; the fastest participants may finish in about 25 minutes while most finish between 30 and 50 minutes. All registered participants receive a Girls on the Run T-shirt. Program participants also receive a commemorative medal.
The council requires every participant to wear a bib and assigns a 5K buddy to support participants through the course. Safety plans are in place and on site staff include emergency medical technicians and local police. The event is designed to be accessible: participants may walk, run, push, or roll, designated accessible parking is available, and the council partners with myTEAM TRIUMPH to assist participants with disabilities. Pets are not allowed at the venue; service animals must be properly identified.
Registration fees listed for the event are $30 for adults ages 16 and older and $15 for youth ages 15 and under. Volunteers support setup, registration, water stops, finish line refreshments, kids activities, merchandise sales, and other event operations.
