Girls on the Run Southeastern Wisconsin 5K
The event is a celebratory, noncompetitive 5K (3.1 miles) that closes each Girls on the Run season and gives participants a tangible sense of accomplishment. It takes place at American Family Field Tailgate Haus in Milwaukee on Sunday, November 8, 2026. The course runs on the roadways around American Family Field.
Registration is open to program participants, coaches, family members and community runners. Program participants and coaches are already registered and do not need to register again. Adult registration is listed at $30 and youth registration for ages 15 and under is listed at $15; financial assistance is available during the registration process. All registered participants receive a Girls on the Run T-shirt. Program participants also receive a commemorative medal.
The council recommends each girl have a 5K Buddy aged 16 or older to accompany her on course; all 5K Buddies must register. The event includes a 5K Village with kids activities and merchandise. Early packet pick-up is available the Friday before the event at the Tailgate Haus.
The event is held rain, snow or shine and will not be rescheduled for date availability reasons. Pets are not allowed at American Family Field. Designated parking areas and accessible options are provided. Volunteers support setup, registration, water stops, finish area and other event roles.
