Rochester 5K Celebration
Girls on the Run Minnesota presents a celebratory regional 5K on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Saint Marys University Rochester Campus (2900 19th St NW, Rochester, MN 55901). The event serves as the season closing for Girls on the Run teams from Rochester and surrounding areas and is organized as a non competitive, celebration-focused 5K.
Registered participants who complete the course receive a 5K bib, t shirt, commemorative medal and post race food. The course distance is 3.1 miles and is designed to allow participants to walk, run, push or roll at their own pace. The event notes that it is accessible for people with disabilities and designated parking is available.
Registration for community members is $40 with a pay what you can option. Program participants and coaches are already registered and do not need to sign up. All registrants must complete the included liability waiver. Every girl in the program must have a registered 5K Buddy: a trusted adult aged 18 or older who runs or walks alongside her on event day.
Strollers are permitted with the request that they start at the back of the pack. Pets are not allowed and scooters, rollerblades and bicycles should be left at home. Local sponsors and national partners support the event. Volunteer roles include course marshal, registration, water stop, parking and post race food support, with assignments communicated prior to the 5K.
