Rochester Turkey Trot 5K : Rochester, MN
The Rochester Turkey Trot 5K is a chip-timed road race held in Rochester, Minnesota on November 26, 2026. The start and finish are located at Soldier’s Memorial Field Park West Shelter, and the course is entirely on paved trail. The event includes a Kids Dash and multiple timed categories, with a course time limit for the 5K of 1 hour 20 minutes.
Event gear options include a classic t-shirt or an upgrade to a thin-tec soft polyester pullover. Darlin’ donuts are provided at the finish line. Water stations on course provide water. There is no gear check on site. The event is scheduled to run rain, snow or shine and may be delayed for dangerous weather such as lightning.
This race supports a charitable mission to aid people affected by blood cancers while they are receiving care in Rochester. Results from this local event are also included in the nationwide Thankful Turkey virtual leaderboard. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall in chip-timed categories; Kids Dash participants receive a finisher ribbon. Participants are required to sign an online waiver. Dogs are not allowed; strollers are permitted for walkers and joggers only and must start in the back of the starting corral.
