Rochester Turkey Trot 5K
The Rochester Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for November 26, 2026 in Rochester, Minnesota. The start and finish are at Soldier’s Memorial Field Park West Shelter, 244 Soldiers Field Dr. SW, Rochester, MN 55902. The course is entirely on paved trail and the event is chip timed with individual bib-integrated timing.

Event gear options include a classic t-shirt or an upgraded thin-tec soft polyester pullover. Darlin’ donuts are provided at the finish line. Water stations on course include water. There is no gear check on site. Parking at Soldiers Memorial Field Park is limited; downtown parking ramps and surface lots are available nearby.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall. Age categories run from 10 & Under through 70+. The 5K has a course time limit of 1 hour 20 minutes. Participants must sign an online waiver. Headphones and personal audio devices are allowed but are strongly not recommended. No dogs are permitted; strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers only and must start from the back of the starting corral with a guardian-signed waiver.
The event supports Red Drop Resources, a charity serving people affected by blood cancers while they receive care in Rochester. Results are aggregated into a national Thankful Turkey leader board. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
