Girls on the Run 5K - San Antonio
The Girls on the Run 5K is a season-closing run/walk held at Mission County Park, 6030 Padre Drive, San Antonio, TX 78214. The event serves as the final celebratory 5K for Girls on the Run South Central Texas participants and provides a concrete goal for teams at the end of their season.
The course distance is 3.1 miles. Every girl registered in the program receives a commemorative medal. Registered participants receive a Girls on the Run Bexar County race shirt and official volunteers receive a volunteer shirt. Vendors and food trucks will be present and additional festival activities include face painting, bling your bib stations, and happy hair stations.
Registration details noted for the event include an Early Bird fee of $30, a general online price of $35 after October 1, a t-shirt guarantee for registrations by October 15, and a day-of registration fee of $40. Fall 2026 program participants listed by the council are already registered and do not need to register separately.
Packet pick-up is scheduled before the event at local locations: April 29 at the Girls on the Run Bexar County office and April 30 at iRun at the Dominion; race day packet pick-up is available at Mission County Park.
