2026 Ghostly Grapes 5k & 10k at Two Twisted Posts
This event is a vineyard course held on October 25 at Two Twisted Posts Winery in Purcellville, VA. Points earned count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series and toward the Sippin Series. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person.
The route is a cross country loop around the vineyard property with rolling hills. The 5k is one loop and the 10k is two loops. Chip timing is used and live results are posted during the event on Athlinks; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race.
Runners receive one glass of wine from the winery, a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations received before October 14; extra shirts may be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fees listed for early and late registration are:
- 5k - $35 until Oct 15 ($40 after)
- 10k - $50 until Oct 15 ($55 after)
Water stations are placed along the courses: two on the 5k and five on the 10k, with Gatorade available at some stations. Packet pickup and race day registration are available at the venue. The event benefits Boykin Spaniel Rescue, an organization focused on rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of at-risk Boykin Spaniels.
