Event Overview
The Ghostly Grapes event offers a 5k and a 10k cross-country run on the grounds of Two Twisted Posts Winery. Race points count toward the organizer's Year-Long 5k, 10k, Back of the Pack, and Sippin Series.
Course
The route is a cross-country run around the vineyard property, featuring some rolling hills along the trail. The 5k is one loop, and the 10k is two loops of the same course. The course includes multiple water stations, with Gatorade available at some.
Registration and Fees
Registration is available on race day, with participants advised to arrive one hour before the start. Fees are $35 for the 5k and $50 for the 10k until October 15, after which they increase by $5. A $5 price increase also applies on race morning. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations before October 14.
Included with Entry
Runners receive a technical event shirt, a finisher medal, a glass of wine from Two Twisted Posts Winery, and chip timing.
Awards
The top three men and women overall are recognized. Awards are also given for first and second place in standard age groups, from 19 & Under to 70+. Top three overall finishers are not eligible for age group awards.
Logistics
Packet pickup is at the event. A virtual run option is available for those not attending in person. Live results are posted online. The event proceeds rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
